During the oMERO project, the strategic partnership will progressively release the following project deliverables, which correspond to the project’s Intellectual Outputs (IOs). These project deliverables will then be downloadable from this page.
Below you can find a list of all IOs accompained by a short description.
INTELLECTUAL OUTPUT | DESCRIPTION |
IO1: EU PROFESSIONAL PROFILE FOR VISUAL DISABILITIES REHABILITATOR. | A VRD Professional Profile (PP) will be modelled, based on needs analysis and PPs already existing at EU level and national. It will be competence-based and compliant with EU standards such as EQF. This project result will be notified to ESCO in order to be integrated with that EU tool. |
IO2: EU CURRICULUM FOR VISUAL DISABILITIES REHABILITATOR. | It will be delivered as the main result of the project, in order to play a reference role at EU level for the training of VDR as well as for his/her international mobility and the recognition of his/her competencies. The Curriculum will be “learning outcome-oriented” and compliant with the main EU standard and tools for VET in Higher Education (such as ECVET, EQAVET, ESCO, EQF, etc.); it will be general and “across-the-board”, but modular and flexible since it is supposed to be adaptable to different contexts and rules in different EU countries; it will implement trans-disciplinary approaches, innovative pedagogies and work-based learning. |
IO3: GUIDELINES FOR DESIGNERS SUPPORTING THE LOCALIZATION OF THE CURRICULUM. | Since the Curriculum is supposed to be general in order to allow the adaptation to different EU contexts and laws, specific guidelines will be produced in order to support the “localization/contextualization” of the Curriculum in a specific country or HEI. |
IO4: GUIDES AND PLANS FOR TEACHERS SUPPORTING THE LOCALIZATION OF THE CURRICULUM. | Since the Curriculum will be based on innovative methods, specific guides for teachers, mainly made of lesson plans, will be delivered in order to support their implementation in future courses. These guides will be used as training materials during the teachers’ training. |
IO5: VIRTUAL REALITY SIMULATOR FOR LEARNING BY EXPERIENCING VISUAL DISABILITIES (REALTER). | It will be a device that simulates, in real-time, visual impairment in low vision conditions, to be used as a training tool for operators specialized in the rehabilitation of partially sighted subjects with particular reference to “orientation and mobility”. |
IO6: DESIGN OF LOCAL HE COURSES. | Four HEI of the Partnership committed to implementing a HE course (based on oMERO Curriculum) in their institution at to the end of the project. In order to support these initiatives, this IO will include the localization of the general curriculum and the design of the local HE courses in Italy, Sweden, France and Lithuania. |
IO7: LEARNING MATERIALS FOR VDR. | The main learning materials suggested by lesson plans and included in the design of local HE courses will be developed as an oMERO Intellectual output. They can include guides, audio-visual materials, scientific publications, case studies, etc. These materials will be in the 5 languages of project partners and will be used in the HE courses implemented at the end of the project. |
