Project Deliverables

During the oMERO project, the strategic partnership has progressively released the following project deliverables, which correspond to the project’s Intellectual Outputs (IOs). These project deliverables can be downloaded from this page.
Below you can find a list of all IOs accompained by a short description and the corresponding deliverables.

INTELLECTUAL OUTPUTDESCRIPTIONDOWNLOADABLE DELIVERABLE(S)
IO1: EU PROFESSIONAL PROFILE FOR VISUAL DISABILITIES REHABILITATOR  A VDR Professional Profile (PP) has been modelled based on needs analysis and PPs already existing at EU and national level. It is competence-based and compliant with EU standards such as EQF. This project result is to be notified to ESCO in order to be integrated with this EU tool.  IO1: EU PROFESSIONAL PROFILE FOR VISUAL DISABILITIES REHABILITATOR.
IO2: EU CURRICULUM FOR VISUAL DISABILITIES REHABILITATOR
The EU curriculum for VDRs is the main result of the project. It plays a reference role at EU level for the training of VDRs as well as for their international mobility and the recognition of their competencies. The Curriculum is “learning outcome-oriented” and compliant with the main EU standards and tools for VET in Higher Education, such as ECVET, EQAVET, ESCO, EQF, etc.
It is general and “across-the-board”, but also modular and flexible, since it is supposed to be adaptable to different contexts and rules in several EU countries. Moreover, it implements trans-disciplinary approaches, innovative pedagogies and work-based learning.
IO2: EU CURRICULUM FOR VISUAL DISABILITIES REHABILITATOR.
IO3: GUIDELINES FOR DESIGNERS SUPPORTING THE LOCALIZATION OF THE CURRICULUM
Since the Curriculum is supposed to be general in order to allow the adaptation to different EU contexts and laws, specific guidelines (i.e. the Designers’ Kit) were produced in order to support the “localization/contextualization” of the Curriculum in a specific country or HEI.  – IO3 – First release
– IO3 – Final release
IO4: GUIDES AND PLANS FOR TEACHERS SUPPORTING THE LOCALIZATION OF THE CURRICULUM Since the Curriculum is based on innovative methods, specific guides for teachers, mainly made of lesson plans, were delivered in order to support their implementation in future courses. These guides will be used as training materials during the teachers’ training.  IO4: GUIDES AND PLANS FOR TEACHERS SUPPORTING THE LOCALIZATION OF THE CURRICULUM
IO5: VIRTUAL REALITY SIMULATOR FOR LEARNING BY EXPERIENCING VISUAL DISABILITIES (REALTER)The final output (REALTER) is a device that simulates, in real-time, visual impairment in low vision conditions, to be used as a training tool for operators specialized in the rehabilitation of partially sighted subjects with particular reference to “orientation and mobility”.  IO5: VIRTUAL REALITY SIMULATOR FOR LEARNING BY EXPERIENCING VISUAL DISABILITIES (REALTER)
IO6: DESIGN OF LOCAL HE COURSESFour HEI of the Partnership committed to implementing a HE course (based on the oMERO Curriculum) in their institution at to the end of the project. In order to support these initiatives, IO6 includes the localization of the general curriculum and the design of the local HE courses in Italy, Sweden, France and Lithuania.IO6: DESIGN OF LOCAL HE COURSES
IO7: LEARNING MATERIALS FOR VDRThe main learning materials suggested by lesson plans and included in the design of local HE courses were developed as part of IO7. These materials are in the 5 languages of project partners and will be used in the HE courses implemented at the end of the project.IO7: LEARNING MATERIALS FOR VDR
